Yesterday me, Boyd, and Maren went snowboarding!!!! It was so much FUN!  We got there around four, got all of our gear on and started out!! Me and Maren took a while to adjust to it.  Boyd who told me he hasn't been since like '05 had no trouble at all.  But eventually me and Maren got back into the groove of it and were doing just fine!  I have always had issues with getting off the lift and can never get off graciously ;) And yesterday was no exception, but Maren, who had never gotten off before, could get off without falling after a few tries. So jealous ;)  Anyways we were there for about five hours! After a few falls of my own my wrist started hurting pretty bad so I stopped practicing new things so I wouldn't fall as much.  I do pretty good on my heels so I stuck with that.  Around eight o'clock we took our second break in the lodge, but then I sat out the last two runs when Boyd and Maren went back out. (My wrist couldn't risk another fall)  But I'm so glad we went, cuz it was a blast!!! I love snowboarding!!

So again I am slacking off in the whole blog world.  Not much is new though.  Boyd's cousin Josh came home on the 21st. We went to his  homecoming.  It was good.  Went on a triple date with him and his other return missionary friend this last weekend.  We went to TGI Fridays....I use to hate this place because when I was little we went there for my birthday and they tied balloons in my hair and I hate getting sung to in public period but the balloons really made me mad....So needless to say I haven't been back since then.  But I was missing out because the food was actually pretty good! The dessert was my favorite though.:) yum. They have a sweet deal going on too... appetizer, entree, and dessert all for just 12.99.  I think it's an amazing deal.  Well other than that my amazing husband has pretty much finished my salon in our house!!! I love it! It's perfect! And he bought me a little bamboo plant that is so cute and matches my theme of course!  So I am excited to finish up the little but hard paint job I'm planning on doing for an accent color! Can't wait! Now I just need to find time ;)  Well thats all I can think of to tell you about right now.  Hopefully I will have more interesting stories soon!

So not much has happened since christmas. But recently we got our Tucanos free birthday meal voucher in the mail so we went this last weekend with some friends.  We have been before and we love it! It's so yummy! But we were all stuffed!! We had tummy aches from eathing too much! Anyways I would highly recommend going.  It's in the gateway mall in Salt Lake City!

Christmas!

So for Christmas eve, me and Boyd went to my grandparents, where my dad's family was and we just ate and played a game and talked.  Me and Boyd got to open our presents from my Dad and Jenn since we wouldn't see them the next day.  I got some way cute clothes!!!  and he got gift cards and walkie talkies and from Missy he got an under armour weather top thing.  They did such a good job picking stuff for him.  He really liked everthing he got!  So apparently they are better at picking stuff for him than me cuz i was clueless as what to get him, i had to get some help from his parents. anyways it was a fun night.  Then on Chrismas we woke up around 7:30 and opened our presents to each other.  Boyd got me cordless trimmers! I love them! He also let me shave his beard off with them!!! Yay, another present ;)  I also got some flashlights and headlamp things that I wanted for camping!  I got him some stuff for his trailer and some other stuff he already knew about.  After that we went to his grandma's for breakfast.  Then to his uncle's house to talk to his cousin Josh, who is coming home from his mission in a few weeks!  Then back to his parents to visit for a bit.  Oh and they got me some cute pjs and sewing stuff!! After his parents we went to my mom's.  Opened our presents and then watched criminal minds and then visited for a bit. Then finally went home sweet home! We rented a movie and just rested.  It was a good first Christmas being married!!
